From the family detail panel
Open the family detail panel for the family ready to start their search.
Click 'Generate engagement letter' (it is the NBA when status is 'Discovery Complete'; otherwise find it under 'More actions').
Confirm the tier (Standard or Premium). The placement fee defaults follow tier ($3,000 / $5,000) and the application fee is $750 (credits against the placement fee at successful placement).
Open 'Override defaults' if you negotiated different terms with this family.
Click 'Generate'. The Doc lands in the family's Drive folder; you get a one-click 'Open in Google Docs' link in the success banner.
Review and send
Open the Doc, scan the merge fields (family name, address, fee, tier), and use Google Docs' Insert > eSignature to send for signature. When the family signs, advance the card to 'Contract Out'.
